Paper Crane Psychotherapy Services acknowledges that we are situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Chonnonton, Wendat, Haudenosaunee, Tionontati, and Mississauga Nation. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and Anishinaabe Nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes and each other. We recognize the assiduous presence of Indigenous Peoples all across Turtle Island (North America) and are humbled to be able to live on and share this land. We recognize that reconciliation is an ongoing process which goes beyond just land acknowledgements. We aim to stay continuously updated on the barriers and challenges Indigenous individuals face in our society, and welcome feedback on how we can continue to be respectful and supportive allies.
